My wife and I recently visited my Grandma in Coral Springs, Florida. We were very concerned about the state that she was in. She did not have enough food, she was depressed, and her home was neglected. We knew that we had to find someone to help my Grandma when we could not be there. We contacted several agencies and it took a long time to find the correct agency who could help us. Eventually, we found Ed at Seniors Helping Seniors in Fort Lauderdale. He visited my Grandma and worked out a plan to have one of his caregivers (providers) visit her 3 times a week. I cannot say enough about the Seniors Helping Seniors service agency. The caregiver and my Grandma became great friends. She now looks forward to future caregiver visits, and her depression has turned around. We no longer worry that Grandma is eating well, as she and her caregiver go to the market at least twice a week! I know that Ed at Seniors Helping Seniors can help us solve all of our problems and concerns, and I trust in the services provided. I give Seniors Helping Seniors my highest recommendation.
What Our Families and Seniors Are Saying
From the very first time Ed, Paul and Mike met with our father, we were so impressed by one outstanding trait - they listened! They listened as we expressed our needs; they listened to our father as he spoke about the things he enjoyed, just as important, the things he wasn't interested in. Since we began using Seniors Helping Seniors we have found this exceptional team of caregivers to be charming, attentive and flexible to our dad's needs. As our father's situation changed, they made themselves available for a quick response should he need them on dates when they were not originally scheduled. Their warmth and ability to bond with our dad was nothing short of remarkable as from the very beginning he was not keen on having strangers in his home. We would not hesitate to recommend Seniors Helping Seniors to anyone who would like the care of compassionate, caring individuals for their loved ones.
Seniors Helping Seniors was always there for my Mother. In fact I believe they kept Mom alive and happy in her own home years longer than her doctors predicted. Yay SHS!
"Dear Ed and Paul Thank you so much for the wonderful service you provide for us oldstas. I always look forward to Thursdays when sweet Corrine comes to help! I'm a little early, but I want to wish you a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. Gratefully."

My mother who is 85 lives alone in Fort Lauderdale. I and my sisters worried about her living on her own until we found Seniors Helping Seniors Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. Paul and Ed have been sensational with her and providing the companionship and aid she needs now! They were very thoroughly in assessing her needs and matching her up with two caregivers that she adores and sees now on a regular basis. The caregivers drive her to her doctor appts., grocery shopping and wherever she needs to go. They help her with light housekeeping and simple meal preparation. Their regular scheduled visits allow us up in New York to be aware of what is happening with her on a daily basis. The peace of mind we have now that she is watched over is priceless. A heartfelt thank you to Paul, Ed and all their staff at Seniors Helping Seniors for helping our Mom.
